Introduction to DCX-22 Tide Gauge
The DCX-22 fully independent water level data recorder is a high-precision, independent, battery driven absolute pressure water level recorder designed for long-term recording of water depth and temperature. The DCX-22 absolute pressure water level sensor, electronic components, and battery are packaged in a sturdy, double sealed 316 stainless steel tube for long-term submerged measurement. The DCX-22 fully independent water level data logger does not require external wires and can be suspended using any suitable and safe cable. To download the recorded data, simply retrieve the DCX-22 fully independent water level data logger from the measurement point, and then remove the two sealed end caps to enter the data port of the DCX-22 absolute pressure water level sensor.
DCX-22 Baro Pressure Recorder
When using the DCX-22 fully independent water level data logger in shallow water, the influence of air pressure changes should be considered. The DCX-22 Baro air pressure logger is placed on the water surface near the DCX-22 fully independent water level data logger to record air pressure. After downloading the data file to the PC, software can quickly and accurately associate these two values. The DCX-22 Baro air pressure recorder has the same technical performance as the DCX-22 fully independent water level data recorder, except that the sensors and electronic components are calibrated to read and record air pressure.

DCX-22 Absolute Pressure Water Level Recorder Software Information
The DCX-22 fully independent water level data logger software is compatible with Windows 2000/NT/XP/ME/9x. Simple and well structured software has many functions, such as:
Set measurement frequency
Measure data in mWC (=10kPa) or any other unit (user programmable)
Programmable start measurement (date and time)
Event activation DCX-22 fully independent water level data logger: absolute value or percentage change of water level, exceeding or falling below a certain pressure, etc.
With this software, the DCX-22 fully independent water level data logger can be configured or read out data. The data from the DCX-22 absolute pressure water level sensor may undergo various processing, such as graphic display, output, environmental pressure compensation, and conversion to water level. The online function displays the actual measurements of the DCX-22 fully independent water level data logger. Due to the modular structure of the software, customer specific data formats can be applied as required. According to the requirements, a portable Windows CE application can be used for reading data from the DCX-22 absolute pressure water level sensor.
Application of DCX-22 Absolute Pressure Water Level Recorder
The DCX-22 fully independent water level data logger can work well for many users because its placement depth does not depend on the length of the cable. For example, a 5-meter water level data logger with a ventilation cable may require a 7.5 or 9-meter cable, which is already the best solution. Even if the exact location where the water level data logger will be installed is known and it can only be foreseen that it will be used in future applications that require similar or shorter cables, the 5-meter sensor range of the water level logger is applicable, but a 60 meter cable may be necessary to reach the water level measurement point. In this case, the DCX-22 fully independent water level data logger is indeed excellent, although it requires more investment and a pressure compensation data logger to obtain sufficient accuracy.
